Questions Before Choosing Your Machine?
Explore common questions about machine selection, packaging formats and production requirements.
How do I choose the right packaging machine for my product?
Start with your product characteristics, packaging format, target fill weight or volume, and required output. Share these details with Lantu so we can discuss suitable feeding, dosing and packaging equipment.
What is the difference between VFFS and premade bag packaging?
A vertical form fill seal (VFFS) machine forms bags from roll film, fills them and seals them. A premade bag machine uses bags that have already been manufactured. The choice depends on your bag design, material, product and production needs.
Can one machine handle different products or package sizes?
Compatibility depends on the machine and its configuration. Different products or sizes may require adjustments, changeover parts or another dosing system. Provide your complete product and packaging range before selecting a model.
Which filling system should I consider for powders, granules or liquids?
Auger filling is commonly considered for powders, while weighing systems are often used for granules. Liquid and paste filling methods depend on viscosity, foaming and other material characteristics. The proposed configuration should be reviewed for your application.
How can I confirm the machine’s speed and filling accuracy?
Actual performance depends on the product, fill quantity, packaging material and operating conditions. Request specifications for the proposed configuration and discuss sample testing and acceptance criteria before ordering.
Can I connect a machine to an existing packaging line?
Integration must be checked for the specific equipment. Share your line layout, conveyor height, connected machines, target output and control requirements to help identify suitable connection points and supporting equipment.
What information should I provide when requesting a quotation?
Include your product, packaging dimensions, fill quantity, target output, destination country and available utilities. Photos, samples or videos of your current process can help clarify the requirements.
What should I confirm about delivery, documentation and support?
Confirm lead time, shipping scope, installation, training, spare parts, warranty terms and applicable documentation for the selected model. These details should be specified in the quotation or contract.
